Melissa Eller joined The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County in 2024 as a donor services officer. In this role, she cultivates strong relationships with donors and works closely with them to guide their philanthropic endeavors and legacy goals. Melissa has had an extensive career in human services. Prior to joining CFWC Melissa supported well-being and permanency for children and families through her work with the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network. As program director, she optimized the usage of a $45 million budget resulting in over 2,000 Pennsylvania children and families receiving permanency services each fiscal year. Melissa managed government contracts, complex projects, and initiatives in the field of child welfare and legal services.
She earned a masters of public administration from the University of Pittsburgh, and a masters of community counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor.
Melissa lives in Ligonier with her family and their many pets. She is active in her local community and volunteers with her local fire department.
