Community Foundation of Westmoreland County

2020 Nonprofit Women's Leadership Cohort

The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County and the WestCo Nonprofit Network are excited to launch the Nonprofit Women’s Leadership Cohort. This learning cohort is designed to engage high potential, emerging women leaders in the nonprofit sector that have between 7- and 15-years’ experience and are interested in developing their executive leadership skills. The group will be held virtually and will include online learning, readings, group discussions and individual executive coaching. The time commitment is approximately 45–60 minutes per week.

The Nonprofit Women’s Leadership Cohort will be led by Dee Flaherty. Dee holds both a master’s degree and a PhD in leadership and is passionate about helping others develop their unique leadership.  More about Dee can be located at www.deeflaherty.com.

At the successful completion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to apply for an additional $3,000 in funding that can be used for additional individual leadership development work or to implement a leadership development experience for women within your organization. Participation in the cohort is free but space is limited to 10 women.
